These mini-workshops include a combination of collaborative storying activities and reflective independent writing; suited to writers of all levels, no preparatory work is required.
Register in one, two, or all three sessions:
Session 1 - Spark to Story: explore means and methods writers can employ to draw story to life from the sparks of memory, idea, and turn of phrase
Session 2 - Voice and Echo: who's telling your stories, who's reading your poems? Explore the perspectives and personalities that emerge from narrative voice and it's echo in the ears of a reader.
Session 3 - Writing in situ: Stories have to happen somewhere, and ideally they happen in a place that brings depth and richness to plot and pacing. How does the architecture of setting and place affect the ways that readers connect with your stories.
